Process
Every VORM piece begins differently. A sketch, a saved image, an unusual space or a material you want to build around.

01 / 5
01 — Inspiration
Upload a sketch, drawing, Pinterest reference, photograph or written description.
02 — Proportion
Tell us the approximate length, width and height, along with any important spatial restrictions.
03 — Material
Choose microcement, tile, wood or ask VORM to recommend a finish.
04 — Fabrication
We review feasibility, construction, weight, stability, material and delivery requirements before preparing a quotation.
05 — Finished Piece
The piece is handcrafted, finished, inspected and prepared for collection or delivery.
Refinishing
If you have a table, console or cabinet you like the shape of but not the surface, VORM can refinish it in microcement or tile. Send a photo of the piece with a few details and we will tell you whether it can be resurfaced — and what it would cost.
Not every piece is suitable. Substrate, movement, weight and edge detail all affect whether a hand-trowelled or tiled finish will hold. We assess each piece before quoting.

You do not need a finished drawing. Send us an inspiration image, rough sketch or basic description and we will review whether the piece can be developed by VORM.
Requests are reviewed individually. Submission does not guarantee project acceptance or pricing.
Custom Request
Four short steps. No account required — nothing is ordered or charged.

About
VORM is an Edmonton-based furniture studio creating handcrafted pieces in microcement, tile and wood. Each piece is considered through its proportions, construction, material and relationship to the space around it.
VORM is developed by the team behind Tilfix, combining hands-on finishing experience with custom furniture fabrication.

A sketch, saved image or few measurements are enough to begin the conversation.
